Maroota Sandstone Quarry Pty Ltd
1. Definitions
All references to Maroota Sandstone Quarry or the Company in these Terms & Conditions refer to Maroota Sandstone Quarry Pty Ltd, including its employees and agents.
2. Application of Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, these Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed with Maroota Sandstone Quarry. The Company reserves the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice.
3. Quotations, Orders & Validity
- All quotations are valid for 60 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
- Maroota Sandstone Quarry is under no obligation to accept any order or quotation and may withdraw or reject either at its sole discretion at any time.
4. Order Confirmation & Authority
- It is the Customer’s responsibility to confirm all details in any quotation or invoice prior to payment.
- Payment of a deposit constitutes acceptance of all details as accurate, and no changes will be accepted thereafter.
- Orders may also be confirmed in writing or verbally. Any representative acting on the Customer’s behalf is deemed authorised to place or vary orders.
5. Variations
- Requests to alter an order must be submitted in writing.
- Maroota Sandstone Quarry reserves the right to accept or decline variations based on the status of production.
6. Natural Stone Characteristics & Tolerances
- Sandstone is a naturally occurring product and may display veining, colour variation, fissures, pitting, and other natural features. These are not defects but part of the stone’s character.
- Dimensions are nominal and may vary by ±5–10mm. Hydrasplit finishes may result in greater tolerance variations.
- Any sample or photograph provided is indicative only. No guarantee is made that the delivered product will be identical.
- No liability is accepted for natural variations, and refunds will not be granted for such differences.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
- Orders may only be cancelled with the prior written consent of Maroota Sandstone Quarry upon approval.
- Deposits may be partially or fully withheld at the Company’s discretion.
- Refunds are not available for custom-cut products, dimension changes, colour variations, change of mind, or reduced quantities after order confirmation.
8. Customer-Supplied Materials
- Maroota Sandstone Quarry is not liable for the performance or suitability of any materials provided by the Customer.
- Any costs associated with rectifying issues resulting from such materials are the Customer’s responsibility.
9. Payment Terms
- A 50% deposit is required before any work will commence.
- The balance must be paid in full and cleared before goods are released or scheduled for delivery.
- If goods are ready for pickup or delivery and the Customer is unable to accept within 14 days, 75% of the total order value becomes due at that time.
10. Delivery & Delays
- Delivery dates are approximate and not guaranteed.
- Maroota Sandstone Quarry accepts no responsibility for delays or any losses resulting from late or non-delivery.
- Due to the nature of our product and the impact of external conditions, delays may occur as a result of cold, wet, or extreme weather. These conditions can affect both quarrying and transportation. Such delays are beyond our control, and we cannot be held liable for any resulting inconvenience or loss.
- If delivery is delayed due to site inaccessibility or Customer-related issues, additional storage or delivery charges may apply.
11. Site Access & Responsibility
- The Customer must ensure safe and suitable access for delivery.
- Maroota Sandstone Quarry or its agents are not responsible for damage to driveways, lawns, gardens, fences, or similar.
- The Company reserves the right to refuse delivery if access is unsafe or obstructed.
- Any required traffic control, parking permits, or signage must be arranged and paid for by the Customer.
12. Risk & Insurance
All goods become the Customer’s responsibility upon delivery.
13. Warranty
- Maroota Sandstone Quarry warrants that products are free from defects in workmanship and are within the stated manufacturing tolerances.
- This warranty excludes damage or faults caused by misuse, poor maintenance, natural events, or factors beyond the Company’s control.
